Bluetooth Devices Disconnect After Interacting with Microsoft Teams on Mac

Common Troubleshooting Steps

Restart Teams and your Mac.
Disable Team's access to alter Bluetooth settings in Privacy & Security Settings.
1. Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth > Toggle off Teams
Update firmware and software for all the Bluetooth devices connected to the computer.
Adjust Teams settings:
1. Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top right corner.
2. In the Settings menu, click or tap Devices.
3. Under Audio, make sure that your headphones are selected as the input and output devices.
4. Under Meeting settings, ensure that Use high-fidelity audio is turned off.
Disable Disconnection of Bluetooth Devices.
1. System Preferences > Bluetooth > Options > Advanced > Uncheck the box next to "Disconnect Bluetooth devices when they stop transmitting data."
Disable any background apps.
Reinstall Teams.
