Caldigit PD and TB4 Firmware Update (Windows Instructions)

As of 12/13/23, the newest update is V5.0 for Thunderbolt, and V4208 for PD

Go to https://downloads.caldigit.com/ and download the drivers for the appropriate dock
1. You probably need to expand TS4 and download the ‘TS4 Thunderbolt Firmware Updater‘ and ‘USB PD (Power Delivery) Firmware Updater’ files.
It doesn’t really matter in which order you run them, but the PD update takes more time
Connect to the dock and run the PD update
Windows will pop up an alert, hit ‘Yes’
Click ‘Next’, the firmware update should start
Wait for it to finish then hit ‘Confirm and Exit’
Make sure to unzip the TB4 Update.
Run the Intel Thunderbolt Software Installer
1. This may throw an error, if it does just ignore it and move to the next step
Run the Caldigit TB Firmware Update
Hit ‘Yes’ then ‘Next’
Select the Dock at the top of the screen then hit next
Hit Browse, then navigate to the folder containing the firmware update. Find the folder named for the dock you are updating (You probably need TS4). Select the .bin file and click open
Hit ‘Start Caldigit Thunderbolt Firmware Update’
When completed hit the red X in the top right corner
Leave your computer plugged in but power cycle the dock
Done
