- If an email is from an internal UF person, look them up in the directory
- Never giveaway your login info
- Report phishing emails with the Phish Alert Tool located at the top right of every email in Outlook

- Hover over hyperlinks to see their real destination
- Be wary of generic greetings and bad grammar
- Lookout for an email that urges you to do something in limited time

- Don't open suspicious Emails
- Don't click on hyperlinks
- If you have fell for a phishing scam: alert UFIT, change your passwords, run an antivirus scan

- Spam emails caught by our filter will get put into quarantine or your Junk folder
- Whenever an email is put into quarantine you will get an email notification to manually review it
- If an email isn't brought out of quarantine within 30 days, it will be deleted
