Did you just change your UF password? Awesome!
Do this next to keep everything in-sync and prevent lockouts on your Mac in four quick steps.
1. Wait at least 2 minutes after changing your password. This is to allow the UF to update your password across the system.
2. Click Sync Password via the Jamf Connect Helper on your menu bar near the top-right.

3. Enter your @ufl.edu email and NEW password and press Sign-in. If it disappears, you're done.

4. If you get a pop-up looking like the below stating there is a password mismatch, enter in your OLD password and press Sync. If the pop-up go away, you're all set. This allows the service to sync your old with the new.

You will want to do this immediately after any time your change your password.
Don't forget:
1. You will be prompted to sign back into software like Outlook and Teams since your password changed. Use your new password here.
2. If you utilize your phone for work, you will also need to update your the password with the current one. Outlook usually has an automatic mail settings pop-up and Teams will prompt when you open it.
3. If you have any questions or don't have Jamf Connect on your Mac, please submit a ticket at https://www.go.ufl.edu/lcit
